System Maintenance Overview

Overview

The Systems Maintenance Subsystem (SMS) allows administrators to manage information that is used throughout the other subsystems in the iPDWeb and iCXWeb applications. The following menu options compose the System Maintenance Subsystem (SMS):

• Lookup Table Window - Manages lookup tables for test questions in the Materials Management Subsystem (MMS)

• Items Window - Manages the standard items and their associated properties

• Estimate Defaults Window - Used to define the default calculated items for all contracts in the iPDWeb application

• Funding Window - Manages funding codes used in the iPDWeb application

• Employees Window - Manages employee contact and security access information

• Companies Window - Manages all company information

• Codes Window - Manages code values available to the administrators

• Manage Policies Window - Is used to define access policies based on individual access rights

• Spec Book Window - Manages specification book information

• Organization Window - Manages organizations, which control contract-based user access, so that users only have access to specified contracts

• Letter Templates Window - Manages letter templates used in the iPDWeb application

• Materials Config Window - Manages material templates and sample ID conventions used for samples in the Materials Management Subsystem (MMS)
