Samples Window

Overview

The Samples Window allows users to add and edit samples as well as perform, view, edit, and validate all tests for samples.

 

 

Description

The Sample Window consists of header material and a table. The header material includes a search tool for sample filters and buttons for filter management. To edit which samples are on the page at the time, users can open the Edit Filter Window to create a new filter, or select a filter from the Select Filter drop-down menu.

The table consists of a list of samples. From the table, samples can be marked or edited; tests can be executed, viewed, and validated; and reports can be printed. The View Test Suite Window shows which tests are associated with an sample, so users can manage tests associated with samples.

 

Functionality

Some window functionality is only available by expanding a sample entry, which is done by clicking on the plus sign (+) on the left side of the entry in the table. The functionality in the Samples Window includes:

• A user can manage material sample templates and sample ID conventions from the Materials Config Window.
