Validate Test

Overview

The process to validate a test for a sample is available through the Samples Window. Some sample test results require validation, which users certified for a test can do either through the View Results Window.

 

Prerequisites

• A sample must have been added.

• A test must have been added to the sample.

 

Validate a Test

To validate a sample test:

• Right click on the desired sample entry in the Samples table.

• Select "View Results" in the context-sensitive menu.

• The View Results window is displayed.

  • Click on the Validate Button near the bottom of the window.

  • Note that the button is replaced with a time stamp.

  • Click on the Close Button.

• Note that the test status will change from "Needs Validation" to "Validated Pass" or "Validated Fail."
