Add Sample(s)
Overview
The process to add a material sample to be logged is available through the Add Sample Window, which can be accessed by selecting "Add Sample(s)" in the context-sensitive menu of the Samples Window, or by clicking on the Add Sample Button above the Samples table.
Add Sample(s)
To add a sample:

Right click anywhere in the Samples table.

Select "Add Sample(s)" in the context-sensitive menu.

Users can also begin the process of adding a sample by clicking on the Add Sample Button above the Samples table.

The Add Sample Window will appear.

Add samples as necessary. Right click anywhere in the Add Samples Window and select "Add Sample" in the context-sensitive menu. Alternately:

Select "Add 5 Samples" to add five samples at once.

Select "Add 10 Samples" to add ten samples at once.

Enter the sample date in the Sample Date field or choose the date by using the date picker.

Assign inspection type to the sample by selecting an option from the drop-down menu, or using the intelligent search function.

Enter total samples value using the provided field.

Edit other pertinent sample information using the provided fields and drop-down menus.

A new window will appear, to indicate that the samples were logged successfully.

Click on the Close Button.

Note that the new samples have been added to the Samples table.
Notes
-
Sample Date, Inspection Type, and Total Samples are required fields.

A user can enter sample information into each field using only the keyboard. Information can be entered by typing, and selections in drop-down menus can be made with the "Enter" key. Pressing the "Tab" key will move the cursor to the next field.
