Add Comments

Overview

The process to add a comment or note is indicated by a pencil icon () or notes icon (). The added comment may be for a comment section, a notes section, a title, or a description. Adding comments is one of many basic functions available throughout the iPDWeb application.

 

Add Comment

To add a comment:

  • Click on the pencil icon () or notes icon ().

  • Enter a comment in the Add Comment section.

  • Format text as desired.

  • Click on the OK button.

  • Click on the Save Button.

  • Note that if the comment window was accessed through the notes icon (), the icon will turn from white to blue once a comment has been added.

 

Notes

  • The comment and notes sections may serve different purposes, but the process for entering text into them will be the same.

  • Some comment/note fields can be also be opened by clicking on the field where the comments are displayed.

  • Some comments are added as a log entry, which includes the name of the user who added the comment and a time stamp for when the comment was submitted.
