View/Edit Properties and Passing Values

The process to view or edit properties and passing values for an inspection is available through the Inspections Tab.

To view or edit properties and passing values for an inspection:

Search for and select a laboratory from the drop-down menu.
Click on the blue "Actions" link for the inspection to be modified.
Select "View Passing Values" in the actions menu.
A new pop-up window is displayed.
- To edit passing values, enter new information into the desired fields. Note that not all passing values may be available to edit if the inspection has submitted test results.
- Add pertinent comments.
- Click on the OK button.
Click on the Save Button.

Editing an inspection and its passing values from the Laboratory Window will only change laboratory-specific properties and values. Users can edit the elements that make up an inspection (such as questions, calculations, etc.) in the Test Definitions Tab. The Inspections Tab includes a shortcut to edit inspections in the Test Definitions Tab.
Passing values are visible to testers next to associated inspection questions. A white "P" icon will appear to indicate a passing value has been entered, and a red-outlined "F" icon will appear to indicate a failing value.
Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
