Edit Inspection

Overview

The process to edit an inspection for a laboratory is available through the Inspections Tab.

 

Prerequisites

• A laboratory must have been added.

• An inspection must have been added.

 

Edit Inspection

To edit an inspection:

• Search for and select a laboratory from the drop-down menu.

• Click on the blue "Actions" link for the inspection to be modified.

• Select "Edit Inspection" in the actions menu.

• The iPDWeb application redirects to the Tests Definitions Tab.

• Edit elements (such as questions, calculations, or graphs) as necessary.

 

Notes

• The "Edit Inspection" option in the actions menu provides users a shortcut to edit the elements that make up an inspection (such as questions, calculations, etc.) in the Test Definitions Tab. To edit an inspection's laboratory-specific properties and passing values, select "View Passing Values."

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
