Add Inspection

Overview

The ability to add an inspection for a laboratory is available through the Inspections Tab.

 

Add Inspection

To add an inspection:

  • Search for and select a laboratory from the drop-down menu.

  • Click on the Add Button above the Assigned Inspection table.

  • A new pop-up window is displayed.

    • Enter the information in the required fields indicated by an asterisk.

      • Select an inspection from the drop-down menu.

    • Edit other fields as necessary.

    • Select inspection frequency type and unit of measure (UOM) from the associated drop-down menus. Then, enter a value for inspection frequency.

    • Add pertinent comments.

    • Edit required passing values as necessary.

    • Click on the OK button.

  • Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

  • Laboratory inspections are only available for selection through the Add Inspection Window if they have been assigned the "Laboratory" test type in the Test Definitions Tab.

  • Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
