Edit Laboratory Location Information

Overview

The ability to edit laboratory location information is available through the Laboratory Location Tab.

 

Prerequisites

A laboratory must have been added.

 

Edit Laboratory Location Information

To edit laboratory location information:

  • Search for and select a laboratory from the drop-down menu.

  • Edit desired field(s).

    • Edit the laboratory status using either radio button ().

    • Edit the laboratory number and district in the corresponding fields.

    • Change the laboratory name as necessary.

    • Enter a contact email address and physical address in the corresponding fields.

      • If the laboratory mailing address is the same as its physical address, check the "Same as Physical" box in the Mailing Address section.

    • Edit second lab type (Lab Type 2) and inspection type using the corresponding drop-down menus as necessary.

    • Add additional contact information (such as contact name and phone number) and notes as necessary.

    • Add, edit, and delete miscellaneous information as necessary.

  • Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
