Make Active/Inactive

Overview

The ability to activate or deactivate different application elements is available throughout the iPDWeb application. This is one of many basic functions available throughout the iPDWeb application.

 

Make Active/Inactive

To make active or inactive:

• Click on the "Active" or "Inactive" radio button ().

• Click on the Save Button.

OR

If using effective/expiration dates:

• Set the expiration date in the past to make the application element inactive.

• Set the expiration date in the future to make the application element active.

 

Notes

• Users can enter a date in its field or choose the date using the date picker.

• Users can set the effective/expiration dates to a point in the future to make the element inactive until a specific time in the future.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
