View/Edit Properties and Passing Values

The process to view or edit properties and passing values for a plant inspection of a vendor location is available through the Plant Inspections Tab.

To view or edit properties and passing values for a plant inspection:

Search for and select a vendor from the drop-down menu.
Open the Location Detail Window.
Click on the blue "Actions" link for the plant inspection to be modified.
Select "View Passing Values" in the actions menu.
A new pop-up window is displayed.
- To edit passing values, enter new information into the desired fields. Note that not all passing values may be available to edit if the inspection has submitted test results.
- Add pertinent comments.
- Click on the OK button.
Click on the Save Button.

Editing a plant inspection and its passing values from the Plant Inspections Tab will only change location-specific properties and values. Users can edit the elements that make up a plant inspection (such as questions, calculations, etc.) in the Test Definitions Tab. The Plant Inspections Tab includes a shortcut to edit inspections in the Test Definitions Tab.
Passing values are visible to testers next to associated inspection questions. A white "P" icon will appear to indicate a passing value has been entered, and a red-outlined "F" icon will appear to indicate a failing value.
Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
