Add Inspection
Overview
The ability to add a plant inspection for a vendor location is available through the Plant Inspections Tab.
Add Inspection
To add an inspection for a vendor location:

Search for and select a vendor from the drop-down menu.

Open the Location Detail Window.

Click on the Add Button above the Assigned Inspection table.

A new pop-up window is displayed.

Enter the information in the required fields indicated by an asterisk.

Select an inspection from the drop-down menu.

Edit other fields as necessary.

Select plant inspection frequency type and unit of measure (UOM) from the associated drop-down menus. Then, enter a value for inspection frequency.

Indicate whether the plant inspection is required.

Add pertinent comments.

Edit required passing values as necessary.

Click on the OK button.

Note that a new plant inspection has been added to the Assigned Inspection table.

Click on the Save Button.
Notes

Plant inspections are only available for selection through the Plant Inspections Tab if they have been assigned the "Plant Test" test type in the Test Definitions Tab.

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
