Arrange Questions in Test

Overview

The process to change the order in which test questions appear is available through the Questions Tab of the Test Definitions Tab, which can be accessed through the Tests Window.

 

Prerequisites

• A test must have been added.

• Questions must have been added to a test.

 

Arrange Questions in Test

To arrange questions in a test:

• Select a test from the drop-down menu.

• Click on the question to be moved. This will highlight the question, indicating that it has been selected.

• Use the up and down arrows to the right of the Questions table to change the question's position.

• Note that the question is moved up and down the table.

 

Notes

• Changing the order of appearance for test questions will not impact their variable letter in calculations. Variable letters are assigned according to the order in which questions were added.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
