Delete Variable

Overview

The process to delete a variable from a mix design is available through the Variables Tab of the Mix Design Details Tab. The process is identical to deleting a variable from a mix design template.

 

Prerequisites

• A mix design must have been added.

• A variable must have been added to a mix design.

 

Delete Variable

To delete a variable from a mix design:

• Search for and select a mix design from the drop-down menu.

• Navigate to the Variables Tab.

• Click on the variable to be deleted in the Variables table. This will highlight the variable, indicating that it has been selected.

• Click on the Delete Button above the Variables table.

  OR

• Right click on the variable to be deleted in the Variables table.

• Select "Delete" in the context-sensitive menu.

• A confirmation window will appear.

  • Click on the Yes Button.

• Note that the variable is deleted from the Variables table.

 

Notes

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
