New Mix Design

Overview

The process to add a new mix design is available through the Mix Design Details Tab. To create a mix design template, users must instead use the Mix Design Templates Tab.

 

New Mix Design

To add a mix design:

  • Click on the New Button.

  • Enter the information in the required fields indicated by an asterisk.

    • Add mix numbers, and select mix design type and material code from the available drop-down menus.

  • Enter dates in the Effective and Expiration Date fields or choose the dates using the date picker.

  • Add and edit any attributes, variables, proportioning elements, tests, documents, and remarks as necessary.

  • Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

  • An add can be canceled at any time by clicking on the Cancel Add Button and then selecting Yes from the pop-up window.

  • When the expiration date of a mix design comes to pass, the mix design is expired and cannot be used or selected any more.

  • Users may create a copy of a mix design by clicking on the Copy Button. The copy will appear with the name "Copy of [Mix Design Name]."

    • The copy can be canceled at any time by clicking on the Cancel Copy Button and the selecting Yes from the pop-up window.

  • Users may create a new version of a mix design by clicking on the New Version Button.

  • Users can also create a new mix design from a mix design template.

  • Users can also import mix designs into the iPDWeb from comma separated values (.csv) files.

  • Users can edit the information about a mix design that will be included in printed reports in the Attributes Tab.

  • Users can edit the variables associated with a given mix design in the Variables Tab.

  • Users can edit the questions, calculations, associated test, and bins associated with a given mix design in the Proportioning Tab.

  • Users can review and manage the tests added to a given mix design in the Mix Design Tests Tab

  • Users can edit the documents for a given mix design in the Mix Design Documents Tab.

  • Users can review and add remarks on a given mix design in the Remarks Tab.
