Bins Tab

Overview

The Bins Tab is used to review and edit the mix design worksheet. It can be accessed through the Proportioning Tab of the Mix Design Details Tab. Users can edit these elements for a mix design template in the Template Bins Tab.

 

 

Description

The Bins Tab consists of a row of buttons and three sub windows below, which display different elements of a mix design worksheet. The row of buttons, located at the top of the Bins Tab, allows users to add bins, save their work, refresh the fields underneath the bins to remove unsaved work, or generate results from bin calculations. The Bins window shows different bins used in a mix design and properties associated with each bin. From here, bins for a mix design worksheet can be added and altered. The Test Results window displays all questions for a mix design worksheet, fields for responding to those questions, and information produced by those questions. Depending on the questions included in the mix design worksheet, answers can be entered here. The Bin Calculation window can be used to compute and review bin calculations for the mix design. Bin calculations are added or edited in the Bin Calculations Tab.

Note

• While any addition or removal of a bin in the mix design worksheet will be saved automatically, edits to the fields under each bin will not.

• Questions, calculations, and documents related to a mix design worksheet can be edited in the other tabs under the Proportioning Tab.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
