Add Test

Overview

The ability to add a test for a mix design is available through the Mix Design Tests Tab of the Mix Design Details Tab. The process is identical to adding a test to a mix design template.

 

Prerequisites

A mix design must have been added.

 

Add Test

To add a test for a mix design:

• Search for and select a mix design from the drop-down menu.

• Navigate to the Mix Design Tests Tab.

• Click on the Add Button above the Tests table.

  OR

• Right click anywhere in the Tests table.

• Select "Add" in the context-sensitive menu.

• A new pop-up window is displayed.

  • Search for and select a test from the drop-down menu.

  • Use the checkboxes to indicate if the test will be required or included in printed reports.

  • Add comments and fill in all other desired fields.

  • Add passing values to define the maximum or minimum values for passing the test. Note that not all passing values may be available to edit if the test has submitted test results.

  • Click on the OK button.

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

• Only tests with the Material test type are available for selection when adding a test to a mix design.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
