View/Edit Passing Values

Overview

The process to view and edit passing values for a test or is available through the Tests Tab in the Material Definition Window.

 

Prerequisites

• A material must have been added.

• A test must have been added.

• A question must be marked as a passing result.

 

View or Edit Passing Values

To view or edit passing values for a test:

• Search for and select a material or equipment from the drop-down menu.

• Right click on the desired test in the table.

• Select "View Passing Values" in the context-sensitive menu.

OR

• Click the magnifying glass icon () corresponding to the desired test in the table.

• A new pop-up window is displayed.

  • To edit a passing value, enter new information into the desired fields or add comments. Note that not all passing values may be editable if the material test has submitted test results.

  • Click on the OK button.

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

• The View/Edit Passing Values Window allows users to edit passing values, add comments, and indicate whether or not a test is required for a particular material. The Test Definitions Tab in the Tests Window is used to edit the questions or other components that make up a test. Users can select "Edit Test" in the context sensitive menu to navigate directly from the Test Tab to the Test Definition Tab.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
