Set Organization Access for a Contract

Overview

The process to set contract-based access for an organization of users is available through the Contract Setup Window.

 

Prerequisites

A contract must have been added or imported.

 

Set Organization Access for a Contract

To allow an organization of users access to a contract:

  • Click on the organization in the Unassigned box on the left.

  • Click on the right-arrow (>) to allow access for the group.

  • Click on the Save Button.

To remove access to a contract for an organization of users:

  • Click on the organization in the Assigned box on the right.

  • Click on the left-arrow (<) to disallow access for the group.

  • Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

  • The list of available organizations is managed in the Organization Window.

  • If no organizations are listed in the "Assigned" list then, by default, administrators can see all contract, but other users cannot.

  • This window only sets access for a contract, based on a user's access. The Security Tab and Effective Rights Tab in the Employees Window are used to modify a user's access to windows and fields in the application.

  • The Access assignments (districts) are not made automatically. They must be made manually

  • The list of available organizations is managed by an administrator in the Organization Window.
