Execute Inspection

Overview

The process to execute a plant inspection for a vendor location is available through the Plant Inspections Tab.

 

Prerequisites

• A location must have been added to a vendor.

• A plant inspection must have been added.

 

Execute Inspection

To execute a plant inspection:

• Search for and select a vendor from the drop-down menu.

• Open the Location Detail Window.

• Click on the blue "Actions" link next to the plant inspection to be executed.

• Select "Execute Inspection" in the actions menu.

• The Execute Inspection Window is displayed.

  

  • Enter test results using the provided fields.

  • Hover the cursor over the information icon () next to a question name to read question text.

  • Click on the Submit Results Button.
  • A success notification window is displayed.
  • Click on the OK button.
• Note that a new entry has been added to the Inspection Log table.

 

Notes

• A user may save their progress without having fully completed the inspection by clicking on the Save Progress Button.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
