Edit Material Detail Information

Overview

The ability to edit detail information for a material is available through the Details Tab of the Material Definition Window.

 

Prerequisites

A material must have been added.

 

Edit Material Detail Information

To edit material detail information:

• Select a material from the drop-down menu.

• Edit desired field(s)

• Add comments and fill in all other desired fields.

• Upload pertinent documents.

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
