Add Contract Logs

Overview

The process to add log entries for a contract is available through the Contract Logs tab on the Contract Window. There are two ways that Contract Logs are added for a contract: automatic entries and manual entries. Automatic entries are automatically generated for significant events in the contract life cycle. They process to add a manual entry is shown on this page.

Prerequisites

A contract must have been added or imported.

 

Add Contract Logs

To manually add a contract log:

  • Right click in the Contract Log table.

  • Select "Add Log" in the context-sensitive menu.

  • Follow the Append Comment process.

  • Click on the Append Button.

 

Notes

Automatic and manual log entries can be appended by clicking on the magnifying glass icon ().
