Make Sequence Active

Overview

The ability to make a sequence the active sequence used for generating sample IDs the Sample Window is available through the Templates Tab of the Materials Config Window.

 

Prerequisites

A sequence must have been added.

 

Make Sequence Active

To make a sequence active:

• Select a sequence from the drop-down menu.

• Click on the "Yes" Active radio button ().

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

• If a user indicates a sequence as the active sequence, whatever sequence was previously active will be deactivated for use.

• Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
