Add Rule

Overview

The ability to add a rule to a sequence is available through the Sequence Tab of the Materials Config Window.

 

Prerequisites

A sequence must have been added.

 

Add Rule

To add a rule to a sample ID sequence:

• Select a sample ID sequence from the Select Sequence drop-down menu.

• Right click anywhere in the Sequence Rule table.

• Select "Add Rule" in the context-sensitive menu.

• Enter the required information in the drop-down menus and fields.

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
