Add Authorization

Overview

The process to Add Authorization can be done through the Authorizations Node in the Construction Tree Structure.

 

Prerequisites

A contract must have been Sent to CMS.

 

Add Authorizations

To add authorization:

• Right click on the Authorizations node.

• Select "Add Authorization."

• Edit Authorization Information.

• Click on the Save button.

 

Notes

• Either the Change Order or Contract Adjustment checkbox must be selected in order for the authorization to be approved. Only one of those checkbox can be selected.

• Either the Major or Minor checkbox must be selected before an authorization to be approved. Only one checkbox can be selected.

• The FHWA Participation, Brief Description, Determination, and Reason are required fields and must have values before an authorization can be approved.
