Edit Authorization Information

Overview

The process to edit authorization information can be done through the Authorizations Window. This information includes choosing if an Authorization is a Change Order or a Contract Adjustment, choosing if an Authorization is a Major or Minor change, choosing if an Authorization requires Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) participation, filling out a Brief Description, choosing a Determination, and filling out a Reason for the authorization.

 

Prerequisites

An authorization must be in the draft stage.

 

Edit Authorization information

To edit authorization information:

  • Click on the desired checkbox, select the desired option from the drop-down, or fill in the description.

 

Notes

  • Either the Change Order or Contract Adjustment checkbox must be selected in order for the authorization to be approved. Only one of those checkbox can be selected.

  • Either the Major or Minor checkbox must be selected before an authorization to be approved. Only one checkbox can be selected.

  • The Brief Description, Determination, and Reason are required fields and must have values before an authorization can be approved.

  • Note that the text below the Determination drop-down explains the determination and changes with the Determination is changed.
