Add Company

Overview

The ability to add a new company to the iPDWeb application is available in the Companies Window.

 

Prerequisites

None

 

Add a Company

To add a company:

  • Click on the Add Company Button.

  • Enter the required information, indicated by an asterisk.

  • Enter other pertinent information in the tabs as shown in the Companies Window.

  • Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

  • When a company is added to the system, and it is immediately available for use in the CMS.

  • Users can cancel an add by clicking on the Cancel Add Button. All information for that company will be deleted.

  • Effective Date, Expiration Date, Vendor Number, Name, Company Type, City, State, and Zip Code are required fields.

  • A vendor number must be unique. A unique vendor number is automatically created when a company is added.

  • The effective Date and Expiration Date are automatically created as today's date and a date far in the future.
