Add Company
Overview
The ability to add a new company to the iPDWeb application is available in the Companies Window.

Add a Company
To add a company:

Click on the Add Company Button.

Enter the required information, indicated by an asterisk.

Enter other pertinent information in the tabs as shown in the Companies Window.

Click on the Save Button.
Notes

When a company is added to the system, and it is immediately available for use in the CMS.

Users can cancel an add by clicking on the Cancel Add Button. All information for that company will be deleted.

Effective Date, Expiration Date, Vendor Number, Name, Company Type, City, State, and Zip Code are required fields.

A vendor number must be unique. A unique vendor number is automatically created when a company is added.

The effective Date and Expiration Date are automatically created as today's date and a date far in the future.
