Change Name

Overview

The ability to record a change to a material vendor location name is available through the Specific Location Tab.

 

Change Name

To record a change to a material vendor location name:

• Click on the Change Name Button.

• The Change Name Window will appear

  

• Enter the new name in the New Name field.

• Click on the Change Button.

 

Notes

• The Change Name function is used to record the different names a company has used to refer to itself or its locations. With this information, historical records and reports can refer to a company's locations by the appropriate names according to the date associated with the records.

• To correct a misspelling of a company name, simply change the text in the Name field.
