Add Component

Overview

The ability to add a component to a material is available through the Components Tab of the Material Definition Window.

 

Prerequisites

A material must have been added.

 

Add Component

To add a material component:

• Select a material from the drop-down menu.

• Right click anywhere in the Components table.

• Select "Add Component" in the context-sensitive menu.

• A new component will appear in the Components table.

  • Select a component from the drop-down menu.

• Click on the Save Button.

 

Notes

Users are prevented from saving changes to a system item to which changes have already been made. This prevents concurrency errors.
