Password Reset

Overview

In the event that a user has forgotten their password, they may request to have it reset. Password resets are one of many basic functions available throughout the iPDWeb application.

 

 

Prerequisites

The user must have an active profile, know their username and have an email address associated with their profile.

 

Password Reset

To request a password reset:

• Click on the "I forgot my password" link on the login page (This will launch the Forgot Password window).

• Complete the required fields.

• Click "Submit".

• Receive email with password reset instructions.

 

Notes

When a user submits a reset password request, a new password will be generated and sent to the user. When the user next logs into the system, they will be required to change their password to a password of their choice.
